Segment Routing (SR) is a modern network routing protocol designed to simplify and optimize network operations. This case study explores the implementation of SR for a national infrastructure provider, focusing on the benefits, challenges, and outcomes of the deployment. The national infrastructure provider operates a vast network that supports critical services such as energy distribution, transportation, and communication. The network’s complexity and the need for high reliability and scalability prompted the provider to explore Segment Routing as a solution.
This short paper explores the use cases that can be applied to an Airport environment with an effective wireless infrastructure
